Age: 7 years
Size: 90 pounds
Estimated breed: American Bulldog/Great Dane mix
Ghost would do best in a home with no other dogs and no children or older teens only!
Update 3/7: We continue to be baffled with why Ghost is still with us! He is one catch of a dog and we can't believe no one has snatched him up yet. He is great with all people and older children and does well with other dogs outside the home. He does tend to guard food and other high value items from other dogs, so Ghost must be the only dog in the home. He absolutely loves meeting kids outside the home too, but sometimes forgets his own size. He would do best with older children who can handle all 90 lbs of him. Ghost is a great listener and loves to impress his foster parents! He is up for weekend adventures and would love to go for a long hike, but is also content spending a lazy afternoon lounging on the couch. He is already crate and house trained and is a perfect gentleman inside the home. He can entertain himself with a ball or toy in the yard, and when he's done he has no problem settling into a dog bed for a long nap. Ghost is one special dog who deserves the absolute best forever family!
Ghost is a beautiful American Bulldog mix (possibly with Great Dane) who was brought to the shelter very underweight and clearly neglected. He blossomed in his foster home and was adopted but is now unfortunately being returned after almost a year in his home due to no fault of his own. Ghost is looking for a real forever home that sticks this time around! He is around 6 years old and 80 pounds. He is up for adventures or hanging out at the house snuggling with his people. He loves meeting new dogs outside of the home and going for walks with them however he needs to be an only dog inside the home. He has done great with the older kids in his foster home but due to his size he is not a candidate for a home with young children. We have not seen him around cats. He is crate trained and house broken, is learning his basic manners and is ready to find a loving family of his own. To adopt Ghost, please apply at http://keytolionsheart.org/apply/
