Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marsha loves you already — and you’ve only just met through a picture. Marsha is a 5 year old Terrier mix that was adopted and returned due to the health of her owner. She is a sweet and loving dog, but she may take a while to trust you. Once she trusts you, she will never leave your side and beg to sleep near you at night. Marsha is well behaved and gets along with other dogs. She is potty trained and crate trained. Marsha loves the sunshine, rolling in tall grass, swimming in kiddy pools, watching t.v, and will love you too! Adopt Marsha!
Marsha’s adoption fee is $50.00 and this includes my sterilization, shots, and worming with an optional microchipping and registration for an additional $20.00. We have a dog park to check compatibility with existing dogs. Fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com. If your application is approved, a volunteer will contact you to set up a meet and greet appointment. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet. You must apply on our shelter website.

More about this shelter
Our orginzation was founded by Doug Bakko. Funds were raised to build the original shelter on land donated. The shelter has since been expanded using donations and fund raisers. We are the only Shelter in Cleburne County. Our operating funds come from our Thrift Shop, donations, fund raisers and some assistance from the city of Heber Springs, surrounding towns in Cleburne County. We work very hard keeping animals happy and healthy. We do this because we love animals and want to give them a safe haven and every chance possible to go to a loving home.
