My story

Corky is a senior chihuahua x yorkie who is in need of a patient and loving home. This sweet boy can be a little sensitive and submissive at times, but if you take things slowly and gentle with him, he will build trust in you. He loves to be pampered and spoiled. He would be a great lap dog to someone who can shower him with lots of doting attention. He loves to strut around in his knit sweaters and play with his plush toys. Corky does get bothered by lots of noise or hands in his face, so he will need a low foot traffic household with no young children. Corky may do well with other small dogs and possibly cats - pending meet & greets.

Famous Fido was founded by Gloria Lissner who has been independently rescuing dogs from the death rows of kill shelters since 1975. She officially opened Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance in July 2010. All our dogs recieve the necessary vet care and treatment is never refused. Famous Fido has developed a full merchandise line, starting with our all natural dog treats to support our rescue efforts. Our products are available for purchase on our website. The mission of FFRAA is to form an alliance with similar organizations to increase community awareness, public consciences and create a No Kill Nation.
