My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Piper is a 5 year old Beagle. We have had her since she was 3 months old. 5 years ago, we had 2 kiddos, ages 5 & 6. She has been wonderful with them! About 2 years ago, we brought a brand new baby home and she just has not been able to warm up to him. She doesn’t want to be around him at all. And all her want to do is play with her :( She whines whenever he’s around. Lately, we have been having to close her in a room or put her outside (weather permitting) because she nips and growls at him. We just don’t feel safe like this anymore and it’s truly not fair to her either. She’s not happy here. Piper loves attention! She loves food, walks, and playing. She also loves to cuddle up with her favorite human and just be lazy! She’s a very loyal dog when she finds her person. Piper needs somewhere she can run, and someone who has time to give her plenty of exercise! We just want to find a home where she will be happy again!
