June was rescued in September 2021 from a colony living at an apartment complex. She spent 8 years having too many litters and we TNR’d her in 2018. Last year we brought her inside so she can spend her golden years in a quiet home.
She’s a very sweet girl - shy at first but once she relaxes, her favorite pastime is sitting on laps.
And she plays with all her toys for hours!
Although June has adjusted to living with our other rescues, we think she would be happiest in a quiet home with no other pets.
June would love to be the center of someone’s universe, and we agree that after 11 years of surviving outside, she deserves just that.
If you can welcome June into your home and onto your lap, please let us know.

If there needs to be an introduction to an existing cat or dog, we will go to the potential adopter’s home.

We carefully vet each applicant, and to date have had no returns, which is an important goal. We truly want the home to be for ever.

More about this rescue
Half Moon Cat Rescue is working to make a difference in the lives of colony cats on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Our primary focus is TNR, but with every new colony we have kittens and sick and injured cats to rescue. These are the individuals who we help to find forever homes.
