Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Basil and I am a fun, sweet bun. My foster mom says I'm the bestest bun that ever was. My foster family has two small children and I am very tolerant of them. Especially the older one who respects my space and is gentle with me. I love to hang out in his room while he does legos.
Speaking of hanging out, I am really good around the house. I have never chewed anything besides my beloved toys that are around the house. I love to just flop out near people and be part of the action. I also love head rubs, I will grind my teeth and snuggle up by your side on the floor. I also love stair snuggles. It's my favorite place to get petted.
I love any leafy green, pellets and hay. I am a pretty big boy already and am very hungry. I am doing good with my litter box habits. I never leave surprises around the house but am still working on being consistent in my expen. My foster mom says she doesn't like the little decorating touches I leave around the pen but I don't think she has very good taste.
I also do not like it when my foster mom cleans my pen. She just doesn't do it right and I let her know. So she just waits until I am exercising around the house. I can get a bit crabby in general when someone enters my pen so my foster family just waits until I come out to snuggle.
I don't mind being picked up as long as the person is not moving and I feel secure. I will happily be picked up and pet when I'm in the right mood and will grind my teeth in happiness.
