MEET TOBY- a little Terrier that has had a rough life!
FYI: this is a cross posting for a former adopter of ADR.org. Together, we are looking to find TOBY the right fitting home.
TOBY is in CA (in a foster home) but can be transported to WA. An offer is on the table.
ADR.org will do the prescreening of interested parties - hence you find the posting under ADR.org.

A little bit about TOBY:
We assume that TOBY came from a hoarding case or a puppy mill situation where not only the dogs lived in miserable conditions but were also randomly and without warning grabbed out of their cages -
The local CA rescue that had TOBY adopted out several times did obviously not make good choices and the revolving door brought TOBY back every time.
TOBY has been now over a year in a foster home where he has bonded strongly with the foster hero. TOBY is doing well there but still is very nervous around changes, and new persons. And his traumata memories sometimes still haunt him.
TOBY would accept the companionship of another dog he likes without any restrictions. The foster home does not have a cat, so his cat compatibility is unknown.
Children would not be a good fit for TOBY, we strongly assume.
TOBY is around 9yrs, and approx. 12lbs, neutered and up with shots
