My story

Louise is a very submissive pup who is very sweet and loves to be held and loved on. She is in foster with her sister and primary plays with her very well. Louise is friendly with other dogs and tries to play with everyone. Playing in the snow and then taking a nap is a favorite past time during these cold days. She is respectful of the older dogs who correct her. Unsure of breed for this lovely pup but she does have whorls on the nape of her neck that grow in a circular pattern which stick up when encountering new things or startled. House training is a work in progress. Louise and her sister were found by a good person who saw them getting thrown out of a car on a rural road. As a result they are not fond of being in a vehicle but we are working on that. If you think Louise would be a fit for you please apply at https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/adoptionapplication/

Why adoption is a great option

Louise, a Colorado springs Mixed Breed (Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mixed Breed (Medium) for sale in Colorado springs, or seeking a Mixed Breed (Medium) dog from a breeder in Colorado springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mixed Breed (Medium) breeders who help with Mixed Breed (Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
