Gypsy came to 2nd Chance as an owner surrender. A dalmatian mix and medium size at 45 pounds, she is approximately 1 year and 10 months old. We are not sure what she is mixed with, but she has brown spots on her ears, giving her ears a unique appearance. An energetic lady, she plays hard and is working on basic obedience with her foster parents. They report that Gypsy does great in her crate. She does well with other dogs too.
She will be completely vetted prior to adoption. This includes vaccines, rabies, spay, and microchip.
We are accepting preadoption applications at this time.
Adoption fee: $250

More about this rescue
Second Chance came together only 2 years ago after the Founder attending a USHS conference in Washington DC. When she came back she knew she needed to do something for her small rural community. Since the beginning of this small organization, Second Chance has adopted or placed over 300 animals. We are very small with only 6 people on the Board of Directors and an even small number of foster homes. We are in the process of purchasing a new vehicle for more transports and also a building to house more animals - the land has been purchased and getting ready to handle more rescues.
