Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lea was born after her mom was rescued from an abusive situation. Her owner had cruelly tied a large wire around her stomach by her hind legs. The wire was so tight it cut through her skin and caused deep and painful lacerations. No one would have guessed she was pregnant, but shortly after she gave birth to 9 puppies, 7 of whom survived.
Lea currently lives in a boarding house with other dogs. She is a little bit shy with strangers, but once she gets to know them, she becomes sweet and friendly. Lea is gentle and calm, but also playful when she is with other dogs.
Her ideal home is a household where people are home for the majority of the day. If there is another friendly dog in the house, that would be great for her.
