My story

Zoey is a calm laid back girl as long as she has her human with her!  She would make an excellent emotional support or companion dog for a person.  She just wants to be with people. She doesn't seem to be concerned with other dogs and can be fine but once she is attached to her persons she wants to be the only dog in the house! Walking outside she is fine and next to other dogs in a kennel she has been fine. But she would definitely like to be out of a kennel and laying on the couch chilling with her human. She is supposedly 6/7 year old but does certainly not act that old. We believe her age listed may be inaccurate and she may be a little younger but she is such a sweet calm girl when you are with her. Spayed vaccinated and microchipped. Walks well on leash. Takes treats gently. Was good around children. If interested please text or call Casey at 570-441-0083. Adoption fees waived for Military veterans. Small adoption fee for any other non veteran adopter.

More about this rescue

We are a small group of volunteers that rescue pets with medical needs from a kill shelter. We treat them at our associated Vet clinic and make sure they are spayed or neutered and vaccinated. Pets are then put up for adoption and we try and match them with the right owners. We give special priority to veterans and we begin service dog training while pets are with us. Pets are fostered in our homes or at the Veterinary Clinic until homes are found.
