Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I adopted Butters from Humane Indiana in July 2021 and he has brought undeniable, irreplaceable joy into my life. The only reason why I am seeking to rehome him is because I am moving out of state and my mother is unable to handle keeping Butters and our family cane corso. It breaks my heart to have to let him go; so I want to ensure that he ends up with someone who has the capacity to love, nurture, entertain, and provide stability for him.
He is originally from Mississippi and found his way to Humane Indiana from there. I don’t know anything about his puppyhood, but from his time with me he’s proven to be extremely friendly/sociable, gentle, affectionate/cuddly, agile, fun/full of energy, intelligent, a quick learner and generally quiet (he barks more than he did when I first got him, but still not a lot).
He struggles with separation anxiety, jumping, and chewing behaviors, but I believe that can be curbed with the right toys, rituals, and designated space(s).
