My story

Hi my name is Keanu. I am a super sweet 18 month old male kitty who loves people. I am OK with dogs and after finding my place in the pack am doing well with my fellow kitties. I was a bit of a bully in the beginning but that is no longer the case. I would prefer though to be king of my castle and not share my kingdom with other kitties. I much prefer two legged humans to other cats. I will be a loyal companion to someone who only wants one kitty. I might be able to share my kingdom with a dog or even one patient cat as there are several in my foster home. However my foster mom thinks I would really do best as the only pet. I like all the attention and I don't want to share my cat tower. You see it is from there I rule my kingdom. I will be a kind and fair subject for the right family. I love to be with you and to be petted. My little engine starts up right away--almost as soon as I see you coming. I am totally vetted and ready for my forever home. Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website.
