Freya could benefit from a foster home that could offer more one-on-one training. Due to her energy and potty-training, this would ideally be home with a fenced yard. If interested, we'd love for you to fill out our Foster Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Fosters).
Freya and her brother were found tied to a box in a backyard when they were about 8 weeks old. Their foster mom immediately took them underwing and has been working to help them become great additions to some lucky family. They still need to be spay/neutered, but we are collecting adoption applications now so they can hopefully go straight to a loving home post-surgery.
DNA on her brother showed Chihuahua and Aussie as prominent breeds. Interesting combo and we're challenged to guess what their adult size will be just yet. Plan for medium, but could be smaller. We know both breeds to be loyal, smart, and spirited. Basic training and socialization will be key to their adult success.
Due to her energy and potty-training, we are looking for a home with a fenced yard and someone up for obedience training. If you are interested in meeting her, we ask that you first fill out an application at: www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption
Estimated birthdate: 05/26/21
Weight: 9 lbs on 07/21/21
Temperament: Gets along with all and should continue socializing
Training: House and crate-training in process; obedience training recommended
Vetting: Spay/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm negative
Adoption Fee: $300
Email for questions: larisapdonis@gmail.com
Of course a permanent home is even better. If interested, please complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption)
Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation funded; unless otherwise noted above, please expect a minimal adoption fee of $250 to cover each pet's basic vetting.
