My story

ATTENTION PLEASE: Izzie and Blue, who have been at the rescue for more than one year, are now in need of a loving home more than ever. Izzie recently went blind due to retinal detachments. He is adjusting very well, but it would sure be nice for these two dear, sweet, wonderful boys to spend their senior years with loving parents in a safe, comfortable home.

Izzie and Blue are a bonded pair of gorgeous Shih Tzu boys. Izzie is tan, 12 years old and about 13-14 pounds. Blue is black and white, 15 years old, and about 11-12 pounds. Aside from Izzie’s blindness (he hears very well), both boys are doing relatively well. They are bright, friendly, energetic, and enjoy spending time with people. They love each other and are ready to bring their good spirits to a new family. If you believe you are the one to give these lovely boys the life they so deserve, please put in an application today. We have an adoption contract that must be completed and approved. We require vet and personal references as well home checks. Our normal response time is approximately 7 to 10 working days. Our Adoption Committee works very hard to place our dogs in environments where they will be most likely to succeed. Please understand that we have more applications than we do dogs and that if you do not hear from us within that timeframe, we currently do not have a dog who we feel would match your needs.

Our fee includes neuter or spay, all shots, and snap test for heartworm/erlichia/lyme. We take care of whatever their medical needs might be before they are adopted.

WE DO NOT SHIP OR ADOPT OUT OF THE SOUTH FLORIDA AREA.
