My story

Storm reminds us of a lighthouse keeper. He's got sweet sad eyes and looks like he's seen quite a bit living on his own outside. Despite being under 4 years old, he's got an old sea captain kind of soul. He's never been aggressive towards us and has made amazing progress! At the shelter, Storm is typically chilling out in a cat bed welcoming visitors and beckoning them to pet him. He won't be a lap cat - he's more of an independent fella - but he's a love and easy to approach once he settles into his new home!

More about this rescue

Branford Compassion Club (BCC) is a non-profit feline rescue organization that serves not only Branford, CT, but surrounding shoreline towns. The mission of the club is to provide for the feeding, shelter and care of homeless, abandoned and feral cats; to educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter population control, responsible pet ownership and kindness to animals; and to establish an ongoing community network to achieve these goals. Branford Compassion Club was founded in November 1997, by a handful of compassionate Branford residents concerned with the growing population of feral cats. The residents united to form BCC to alleviate the hunger and suffering of feral cats in this community.
