My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HENRI & LINUS were found hanging around a country neighborhood for several weeks. They were very skittish and fearful of people. They came to Tramp's Rescue and got all their vetting - including neuter, Heartworm treatment, cherry eye repair, deworming, course of Doxy for tickborne. They are have been best friends and they play and snuggle. However, like siblings, sometimes if they get overly excited, they have a tiff on rare occasions. They are ready for their adoptive home together or separately. If the do go separately, they need another friendly playful dog in the home. Linus weighs about 25 lbs and Henri weighs a chunky 30. They are probably about six years old or so. They do beautifully in their side-by-side crates. They're great inside if monitored, but if left alone everything is potentially a chew toy and maybe also they might potty. When they do go to their new home, their well fenced backyard will have to be reinforced around the perimeter, which I can help with, because they can do some serious digging. They are so adorable and sweet and fun, and when they trust you it's like the sun shining because they were given no reason to be very happy and trusting in their previous life, but now they know love and care and trust. So if anyone knows a fabulous Beagle home, please send them our way?! They're great with other dogs, and they are learning that cats are our friends. Looking for an adult home because I think they are too skittish for children. Please email trampsrescue@yahoo.com or leave a message for Bev at 804-248-3042
