My story

Meet Tumbleweed!

Tumbleweed is a precious puppy (8 months) who loves to be loved! Tumbleweed will make a wonderful hiking buddy! This boy is so, so smart and so willing to please. He does well with dogs as well as cats. “Tumble” is playful with playful dogs and respectful of dogs who don’t want to play. Tumbleweed is working on crate training and would be best in an airline/hard sided crate.

Tumbleweed is looking for a family who is prepared for all things puppy! Socializing, training, exercise, mental stimulation and play! A family who is willing to work with a positive based trainer for puppy basics is preferred.

More about this shelter

We are a low-cost, non-profit spay/neuter/vaccination clinic but also an all-save animal shelter! We pride ourselves in being all-save, and the fact that we have a vet on staff to care for our rescued animals is outstanding! We care deeply for these precious souls and will do anything we can to make sure they are healthy and safe! Many of our rescue dogs come from SoCO Paw Responders a division of SoCO Spay and Neuter Clinic. SoCO Paw Responders is our Stray/Lost Dog Rescue and Recovery group. Through this group we locate and capture dogs that have been abandoned as well as assist families in recovering lost pets.
