Butch is a four year old 90 lb. boy. His foster mom has loved having him in her home. He certainly will be taking a piece of her heart when he goes to his forever home. Butch loves attention and will do anything to be loved. Some might say he is an attention hog. He will sit or lay as long as you pet him. He also loves to just look out the window or door. He is a talker, so you will always know what is going on outside. He loves to run and play outside, but he is definitely an inside dog. Once he is played out or finished his duties outside, he will knock on the door for you to let him back inside.

Butch will love you so much that he will take every step you step whether inside or outside. His desire in life is to be with you. He will sit at your feet with his head propped up just looking at you with those precious puppy dog eyes. Before he lies down at night, he will make sure you are settled in bed by just sitting looking at you over the bed, again, with those puppy dog eyes. When he has decided you are ok, he will finally lay down to sleep. Those Eyes Are The Best. They will melt your heart. Is your heart melting yet?

Butch  loves everyone, especially children he can play with. Well, he will play with anyone who will play with him. He can be very active, but he would really love to just lay on the sofa with you. If you would let him sleep with you in the bed, he would be really still for you. He promises!

Butch is a vocal boy and talks a lot. He would get written up if he were in school. He has a Big Bark and you’ll always know what is going on outside. He will also let you know if he needs attention from you by scooping your hand up with his head or putting his foot up on you.

He’s a Big Boy. He’d need to be an Only Dog or be a brother to another large dog. He doesn’t like cats at all. A fence is required. He only trusts dogs that are in his pack.

Butch loves carrots, cheese and his dog treats. But mostly, Butch will Love You. Are you ready to adopt Butch yet?

Upon approval to adopt, you will be sent SSRR Decompression and Introduction requirements that we require ALL of our adopters to follow . You will be asked to acknowledge receipt of these requirements, verify that you have read them and that you will follow them.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We try and match up dogs with the best possible living environment for everyone involved. Some dogs need to be in homes with no children, no cats and/or other dogs - and some dogs LOVE children, cats, and/or other dogs! We want to make sure that everyone in the family is happy! Adoption requires that an application be completed and a home visit performed. Three (3) personal references and a vet reference are required - these will be checked! If approved, a tax-deductible donation to Southern States Rescued Rottweilers is required upon taking possession of the dog. We also require that a contract be signed - that states, among other things, that if you are unhappy with your dog that you will return him/her to us, that you will provide needed veterinary care, that you will provide adequate food, etc.

Even though some of our dogs may be listed in White Hall, AR they are not necessarily fostered there. Please contact us directly at rottie.info.ssrr@gmail.com for any information on one of our Available Rottweilers.
