Can be in a home by himself or with alpha role model large dog , children over ages 6  yrs old and secure fence!  Oakley is a male 3 mos 20  lb  Retriever/Austrialian Cattle Dog  mix.   He will be probably medium to large adult.  He is anenergetic pup that loves doggie blankets, toys, dog beds and playing with dogs. He will be a great companion for an active family with a securely fenced yard,  polite/ calm children  and another alpha dog. Mixed breed experience is recommended. He is an indoor dog.  He will like walks, dog training classes once has all his shots.  No apartments!    Ok with cats and is crate trained and loves his people.

Why adoption is a great option

Oakley, a Olympia Retriever (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Olympia, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Olympia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Olympia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Olympia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Olympia paves the way for another one to be saved.
