Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lou is a 2.75 y/o Akbash (I think) and is about 115 pounds. He is friendly to people and children, dogs, and some cats. He is leash trained and house trained and fairly laid-back for a dog that is <3 years old. He is somewhat playful, but doesn't really like toys although he will occasionally play with a ball. He is okay in a car and can be in a crate, although he mostly just sleeps on his dog bed in our living room. Overall, he is a very sweet dog and a great companion. He is a very big and strong dog and will require an experienced handler who is patient with him, but he learns quickly and loves to please. He can be a bit goofy despite his serious initial impression.
Ideally, I would like for Lou to find a home where he can have a loving family (he LOVES children, btw) with space to run and explore and be the guardian dog that he truly is. We love this dog but cannot provide the life he needs to thrive and would like to allow him the opportunity to find it.
