"Here comes Suzy Snowflake... tap, tap, tappin' at your windowpane to tell you she's in town!" Poor Suzy was found outside trapped under somebody's deck during a major snowstorm, snowed in, and freezing hence her name! She even has a permanent mark on her nose where she initially had suffered from frostbite during this incident but she now wears it as a badge of honor. The frostbite mark is a beauty mark that simply serves as a reminder to us of how strong this young lady was to come out of enduring such an ordeal and to have survived through it. Poor Suzy was pretty emaciated when she was found but quickly gained weight and she has now become a very healthy and beautiful young lady with absolutely STUNNING golden-copper eyes! We just LOVE her very unique and gorgeous eye color and her pretty coat! She is estimated to be about a year old. She would definitely prefer a home without any other cats but is fine with cat-friendly dogs! Suzy would also be fine as an only pet. She has the typical sass of a tricolored female kitty and would do best with an experienced adopter. Suzy Snowflake will have been spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and microchipped at her time of adoption! We are a small, nonprofit 501c3 rescue that has the goal to home and re-home at-risk cats as well as provide TNR and Spay and Neuter Assistance to individuals who can’t afford it. We work with other animal rescue groups to prevent cruelty and neglect to animals and to assure lifetime safe and secure homes to at-risk animals, primarily cats.
