My story

Date of Birth: 5/7/21

Sydney was rescued as a very young kitten along with her 3 sisters. They were all pretty sick with URI (upper respiratory infection) and needed medication and TLC for quite awhile. One of the sisters, Siena, was adopted but Sydney and her Bestie, Savannah are still waiting for their forever home. Savannah is the friendliest; Sydney is more wary, but will warm up to you in time. They have been waiting so long for a family to give them a chance. It will be so rewarding to watch them thrive and become a if someone would just take a chance on them.

If you are interested in adopting from Cat Posse, please visit our website, www.catposse.org and fill out the application on the cats page. You can also contact Sharon at sebastian_sophie@yahoo.com to have an application either e-mailed or faxed to you.

Why adoption is a great option

Sydney, a Pasadena Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Pasadena, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Pasadena.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pasadena already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pasadena breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pasadena paves the way for another one to be saved.
