My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume.

WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in.

Godiva is about 3 yrs old and weighs about 60 lbs. Her family was moving and she was not allowed to go. She is very sad and does not know what she did wrong.... when it was not her, but the 'forever' commitment of her family that was the issue. She is good with children ages 5 yrs and up. She was housebroken in her home.

FROM HER FOSTER: Very, very sweet. Gentle and quiet.

Not food motivated, if given a treat (Which she takes so, incredibly gently) and she is not ready for it, she will try to bury it in her blankets. So cute. Not food motivated but lives for belly rubs, pets, love and affection.

Her favorite things seem to be; belly rubs, walks, getting her beauty sleep, and just being around her human.

Is not fazed by birds. She loves walks and will help you put her harness on. Walks nicely on the leash, at your side or just in front of you. She will stand solid at driveways where she can smell animals...but a couple little light tugs on leash and she continues her walk.

Will play and tear apart plush toys but not too interested in fetch or much playing. After walks she is giddy and plays or rolls around for a bit, then it’s beauty sleep time. Loves soft blankets and places to sleep, would love to sleep in humans bed.

Left her in her crate when I quickly went to store for more food and treats. I filmed her and she was barking, howling and crying the whole time. Took poor thing about an hour to stop panting so hard. Then she had a really good sleep.

Think she would love a quiet, mellow home where someone is usually home and she is the only fur baby and gets all the love and attention…as she deserves it. More will be known about me soon. More will be known about me soon.
