PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING**

S'mores is a very sweet 5 year old boy. He was extremely shut down when we met him at the county shelter, but he has opened up beautifully and is now a belly rub addict! He loves meeting new people, and being told he is handome! He is still working very hard on his severe fear of leashes (we suspect someone mistreated him with a leash/collar because when he came to us he had big scabs all where his collar should have been). S'mores is looking for a calm, patient home, to allow him to feel safe enough to be his amazing self, and who would continue his training to help him overcome his fears. At this point in his progress he would need to go to a home with a fenced in yard. He loves to run and play, and he's got some speed in those little legs! He would enjoy being a homebody with his human, with a minimum of 100 snuggles a day! He would do best in a home with a confident doggy brother or sister to show him the ropes!
