Meet Nitro - a 1.5 year old Plott hound who was at Ocean County shelter. When we found out he had to have his badly injured tail removed, we stepped up and rescued him so he could recover comfortably in a foster home.

He’s very dog friendly and smart. He’s got good leash manners, is housebroken, and is very quick to learn commands. He will need an active home who wants a young hound dog to play with.
