Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Halle and her sister Holly were found at the edge of town when they were approximately 9 months old. It appears that they have not had much "training" but are very social and friendly dogs. Through the help of our dog walker, these girls are learning to get leashed and go for walks without pulling or being afraid. They enjoy their daily exercise and are learning important commands like 'sit', 'down', and 'wait'. Both dogs will work for treats and are eager to please so training should be easy. Consistency and practice are the key! Halle seems to be a bit more reactive to other dogs, especially at dinner time so meeting any resident dogs before adoption is a good idea. They seem to ignore the cats (in their cages) at the City Pound but caution and slow introductions should be used with cats that are loose in their new homes. It's hard to pinpoint their breed(s) because they fit the description of so many different breeds, these girls are a true mystery! Things we do know are their shape - athletic, durable and not too big or too small; their hair type - easy to clean and no professional grooming expense; their personality - energetic and happy, making them ideal for games of fetch and jogging/hiking partners.
