My story

Hello! My name is Lilly Belle. I'm a great conversationalist, as I will make plenty of squeaks if you talk to me to let you know my thoughts! I love to cuddle, I love to play, and to top it off I'm super soft so you'll want to pet me all the time so I can purr up a storm of happiness. I enjoy a good lap, I'll be your bed cuddler and I'll be sure to say hello when you wake up in the morning. I get along great with other cats and can often be found cuddling on my foster siblings and playing with them. Haven't met a dog yet, but I'm pretty easy going.

I've had a tough few months but this wonderful rescue took good care of me and got me fixed up so I could have a happy life! You see, I have a little bit smaller esophogus than my cat friends, but it's nothing that keeps me from living a normal life! My diet just consists of smaller size kibble and wet food, nothing that's too hard now is it! I'm also litter box trained so I'm a win-win!
Are you interested in being spoiled? If so, fill out an application on me and let's meet!

Email info@habitat4paws.org for an application.

**Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the How it Works page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.

Additional adoption info

FEES: Dogs are $200 Puppies under 1 year are $250 Cats and kittens are $140 All animals have been spayed/neutered, received age appropriate vaccinations, had a heart-worm test, a Feline Leukemia test and a fecal check and are dewormed, microchipped and current on heart-worm and flea preventative medications at the time of adoption. Adopters must be 21 and have a valid Texas driver’s license or a state-issued ID that matches the home address. If new to the area, a utility bill in the name of adopter will suffice. Renters must present proof of pet deposit or landlord approval to have a pet. We require that you visit with a pet and adoption counselor. We prefer that all family members be present when the pet is introduced to its potential new family. Current pets are welcomed and encouraged to be part of the meeting too. If a good match is found, adopters complete an application. Same day adoptions may be done; however, Habitat 4 Paws reserves the right to request a home visit prior to adoption. We do not hold pets nor do we adopt on a first-come/first-serve basis.

Go meet their pets

Nearly every weekend our pets that are ready for adoption are featured at locations such as Petsmart, Pet Supplies Plus and other locations. We can also arrange visits throughout the week. Check out the Events page of our website for a current schedule of events: www.habitat4paws.org.

More about this rescue

The mission of H4P is to rescue and find permanent homes for dogs and cats while caring for them in a volunteer-staffed facility and foster program. We are currently raising funds for a building and in the interim are a foster based group. Beyond just sheltering animals, we are proactive in other areas that will help keep animals out of municipal shelters. Paws Pantry animal-food bank collects and distributes dog and cat food to those in need. H4P hosts microchip clinics so that animals will have a permanent ID and can be reunited with their owners.
