My story

Arnold Palmer and his sister, Shirley Temple, came to us when they were about 3 months old. They are both sweet as pie and are in search of their forever homes. Since they are still so young, their adopter must be someone that is home during the day to work on potty training, and they must be able to attend our training program in Vernon Hills, IL. We do not do same-sex placements, or place dogs in homes where there is an unaltered dog. If interested in Arnold, please fill out an application here: http://bombshellbullies.com/meet-the-puppies/

Why adoption is a great option

Arnold Palmer, a Vernon Hills Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Vernon Hills, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Vernon Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vernon Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vernon Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vernon Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
