My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET WALDO!

We rescued sweet Waldo from the shelter because his fractured pelvis required medical care and time to heal.  Our vet determined that Waldo’s injury was probably caused by someone kicking him under his belly.  We cannot know or understand why anyone would do this to an animal.  But we do know that Waldo is healing now in a loving foster home and will soon be on his way to a perfect forever home.

An old and gentle soul, Waldo is learning to trust again.  In spite of his shyness and timidity, he still makes friends quickly.  He will cower at first, though, when you reach to pet him, but his tiny tail keeps wagging and his heart is big.  As gentle as can be, he meets other dogs well and takes treats from your hand in the softest way.  He would probably be fine in a household with another small companion.

A sweet and willing cuddler, Waldo is happiest being in your lap or right beside you having snuggle-buddy time.  Housebroken and crate trained, he sleeps through the night in his crate.  This tiny, sweet boy really is just about the perfect dog.

Waldo is an 8 pound neutered Chihuahua, about 3 years old, housetrained, fully vetted, and up to date on all vaccinations.
