MEET CECILIA!

Sweet Cecilia = Love. Flashing a smile, she sashays right over to you and asks gently for petting and affection. We don’t know why or how she found her way to a shelter—but she must have been treated well in her past life because her heart is big and she only wants to love and be loved.

Weighing in at 82 pounds, Cecilia could stand to miss a meal or three or four and is now on a weight-loss plan so we can uncover the svelte and sexy blond she should be. Her ideal weight is around 60 pounds. When she reaches that, her activity level will increase and help to build her muscle strength in her weak and arthritic back legs.

A young senior at 8 years old, she tries her best to romp about and play, but the added weight makes it difficult. We want her activity level to match her love-happy level! Playful, accepting, and with an open heart, Cecilia knows no strangers. A happy greeter to all, she just might follow anyone who offers her love and affection (and food!). She will make someone the easiest and most loving companion. And she really is just about the perfect dog.

Cecilia is a spayed, 82-lb (but should be about 60 lbs) yellow/white Labrador retriever, about 8 years old, fully vetted, housetrained, and up to date on all vaccinations.
