MEET DEBO
Sweet Debo wins the beauty contest with her stunning black and brown brindle coat. Smart, eager to learn, and well-behaved, she might just be the dog of your dreams. She already knows many basic commands but is playful and energetic when it’s play time. While she’s happy to play with other dogs and has good experience at doggie daycare, Debo makes it clear that her preference is spending time with people giving and receiving as much affection as she can find. She loves people of all ages and sizes and is accustomed to being in a home with little ones. With her people, Debo is low-energy, calm, gentle, and loving.
At about 65 lbs and 1 ½-2 yrs old, Debo is a spayed female Shepherd/St. Bernard/Aussie mix, housetrained, fully vetted, and up to date on all vaccinations. And she really is just about the perfect dog.
Debo was one of our first Second Chances dogs, graduating over a year ago from our Offender Dog-Training partnership with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office. Just a puppy at the time, Debo was immediately adopted by the Nick and Aisleen Farless and their two little toddlers. This past summer, Aisleen Farless passed away inexpertly and the family needed our help to find Debo a new home to ease the burden of their difficult circumstances. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Farless family for giving so much love and extraordinary care to Debo for as long as they could. In memory of Aisleen Farless, we are dedicated to finding Debo just as special and loving a new home as she had before.
