Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beautiful Betty wants to be your Best Buddy!!! 2012 was a rough year for Betty, but this is a new year, and she's ready for a new home and lots of love and new beginnings. Betty is a purebred, 3 year old boxer who last fall found herself at Animal Control, unwanted and heartworm positive. Fortunately for Betty, the nice folks at a rescue took in this loving, quiet girl and got her the medical care she needed. Betty spent the last few months (and the holidays) being lovingly nursed back to health in a foster home, and she is now heartworm negative (with a completely clean bill of health), spayed, and ready to look for her forever home. Betty loves ALL people (big and small), and you won't find a more caring, sweet soul. She is 60 lbs. of pure love who thinks she's a lap dog. She loves nothing more to curl up and give and get love, and isn't shy about sitting right next to you to get your attention. She especially loves having her back scratched, taking walks (she's great on a leash), and getting cuddles and kisses. She is a smart girl who has shown herself to be very trainable, she sits on command and is easily food motivated, and loves to please by learning new things. She is now 90+% housebroken, and improving every day. Betty is very good with other dogs, and may be good with indoor cats.May 2, 2024, 1:55 pm
