Hi, I’m Jax! Can I come stay with you? I’ll sit on your lap, give you kisses, and I really like it when you pet me, hold me, and snuggle with me pretty much all the time! Bonaparte’s Retreat rescued me from Metro Animal Control. At first, I was a worried and scared little fellow. But now I know how much they love me here. They take such good care of me that I let my true self come out! My true self? I’m happy and affectionate and a super love bug. I love the other dogs here and enjoy playing with them and being silly with them. But I especially love ALL people, and my strongest desire is to be with YOU and stay by your side! And I’ll just sit on the sofa and watch you work if you’re too busy to sit with me. But don’t make me wait too long because my love for you is beyond compare. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve been learning to walk on a leash, too—I don’t think I ever did that in my previous life. And they’re teaching me other new things, too, like SIT and WAIT! I’m trying!! I’m a white/cream Lab mix, might have a little Spitz in me—or as I like to say, I’m an awesome dog! I weigh about 31 pounds (the perfect size!), and I’m about 9 months old…that means I still have “puppy” in me. I haven't met young children yet, something called toddlers. I may do best in a home with older kids. You will not find a dog who will love you more than I will. I promise. And I keep my promises. Come take me home with you!
