Hi there! I'm Mr. Mittens, and I'm looking for a wonderful forever home. I’m a gentle and sweet soul who loves kids, even smaller ones, and other dogs, too. I’ve never met a stranger and if you give me affection and attention, I’m yours for life. I enjoy playing with other dogs that are my size or smaller, but I don’t really like dogs that are bigger than me. In my foster home, I play with my furry dog siblings and like to run around with them in the yard, but I’m perfectly content to lie at my foster mom’s feet, or in her lap, if she’ll let me. I’m a quick learner, am house trained and crate trained, I know SIT and DOWN, and I’m fairly good on a leash. I ride like a champ in the car and love to go to doggie day care and play with my doggie friends. I’m a bit of a social butterfly. I sleep well through the night. I’m not at all destructive and know to chew on my Nylabone, so I don’t need to be crated, but I will sleep in one if you want me to. I love my cushiony and soft doggie bed, but I’d love it better if I could sleep in yours and cuddle up. I’m a great cuddler—and I can be the big spoon or little spoon. I’m just that good of a pup! In my perfect home, I'll live indoors with my family and have a fenced yard to play in. Daily walks are wonderful and I love to learn and please you. I like to be around people and enjoy having company, so I wouldn’t like to be alone for hours and hours. At 63 pounds, I’m about a year and a half old (fully grown), and I’m neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on all vaccinations. Let me know if you can share your home with me.
