Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This poor girl Dixie was found dumped in the oil fields of Kern County and was likely used for breeding. Dixie is a wonderful, chunky Pitbull Terrier that is a hunk of love and affection. She is 2-1/2 to 3 years old and weighs fifty pounds. Dixie loves to lounge around and be close to her person for love, kisses and mostly belly rubs. Dixie does seem to prefer the girls over the boys but does well with both. She is low maintenance and low energy. She takes treats gently and is very sweet and would enjoy watching a movie on the couch with you. Dixie does need to be the only dog in the home as she is a bit grumpy with other dogs. Dixie is looking for a loving home to call her own. Something she has never had. Dixie is such a sweetie that only wants love and attention and MORE of those belly rubs.
