Gracie came to us when she was surrendered with her litter of puppies. Her puppies quickly got adopted but Gracie has yet to find her forever home. She is a husky/shepherd mix who loves all people. She is probably about 3 years old and playful with typical husky energy, so will need regular exercise and a secure 6 ft fence. She is an alpha female so will do best as an only-dog home or maybe a home with a young submissive male dog. She is not good with cats or chickens. She is pretty good on leash so would be a wonderful hiking buddy or running partner. She has been spayed and deemed very healthy.

Additional adoption info
In person adoption events you can meet a dog in person before signing the contract and taking them home. Otherwise all our dogs are in foster homes and while a foster can call an interested adopter to tell them more about a dog, we rarely are able to support in person meet and greets. Instead we offer a full 14 day refund clause in our contract which allows you take a new dog home and truly try them out in your own home for a longer period that we feel gives an adopting family a much better idea for if the dog will suit their home and life then the traditional meet & greet.
All our dogs are fixed, microchipped, and brought current on applicable & appropriate vaccinations before adoption.
We do not provide transportation and we will not ship (plane or professional transport) our dogs out of our local area. Out of area adoptions are supported, but the adopting family must pick the dog up in person.
It is in the contract, we will always take our dogs back and dogs are required to be returned to us or you must have our approval prior to rehoming them to someone else.

More about this rescue
Pronto Puppy Rescue is a registered 501c3 non-profit, EIN #83-2122083. We are a 100% all volunteer, unpaid, rescue dedicated to helping find safe and loving forever homes for abandoned, abused, neglected, and surrendered dogs & puppies that haven't yet had that chance.
All our dogs are in private foster homes. All our dogs also get fixed, microchipped, vaccinated, and medically seen to prior to adoption. We primarily specialize in helping puppies and nursing moms and educating families about the benefits of spay/neuter and proper vaccinations and medical care.
Families that end up with an inadvertent or non-desired puppy litter, in exchange for surrendering the puppies to us for proper medical care, spay/neuter, and rehoming, can also get the mom spayed for free courtesy of our rescue if they wish to keep her. If not, we also accept mom with her puppies and will take care of them all medically and get them all properly rehomed to a safe and loving new family.
We also have partnered with rescues and shelters in high kill areas, mainly in south Texas, to professionally transport dogs to us to save them from situations of abuse, neglect, and euthanasia, and see them properly cared for and safely rehomed.
