Ralphie is adoptable and ready for a forever home!
Do you want some personality in your life? Do you get a giggle out of a little feisty spirit? Then this is the little man for you! Ralphie is a big singer and likes to pick up new sounds, however, he’s not suitable for apartment living because he has a larger-than-life voice and is more than happy to use it. Sometimes Ralphie needs some calming techniques when he gets in a fit and needs some time to relax quietly to himself. Although Ralphie fears hands he will step up on a stick for you, once he’s out he calms down and seems to enjoy the company of just observing the world. We recommend no small children as he’s still getting used to people and may have some trauma with children around. His vet described him initially as a “crabby patty” and a “handsome man”. He absolutely adores having another cockatiel friend around and is very patient with other cockatiels, he will follow them around whether perching or just walking around the furniture! 
He will likely do well in a household that doesn’t mind noise, is extremely patient with him regarding bonding. We hope someone will understand where he is at and that he may never be the cuddly type. He would like someone who loves music and if you have another cockatiel who may like to chat across the room or even hang out together even better.
He’s estimated to be anywhere between 6-10 years old.
