Rhea was a stray cat who was fed by some friendly humans in the neighborhood she frequented. Once she began to trust one particular woman, she brought her kittens to her porch and raised them there until her foster mom came to care for all of them.
Rhea is what her foster mom affectionately calls a "guard cat". She loves sitting on a windowsill and watching the world go by--and growling at things that she thinks might threaten her loved ones (i.e. a car, a dog, a suspicious leaf). She loves to talk and have conversations with her humans.
While fiercely independent, Rhea is also extremely affectionate. She is perfectly fine spending time on her own, but once she trusts a human she frequently will approach them for pets, cuddles, and an obligatory "mrooow!".
Rhea would do best being adopted with one of her children or going to a home with a non-alpha cat that she can befriend.
Please be aware our rescue's policy is that kittens be adopted in pairs when there aren't other furry pets in the home for the kitten to bond with.
