My story

Balto was rescued from a north Georgia shelter. This sweet boy was found chained up with a water bucket attached to his collar. He’s safe with us now and ready to put that behind him and go to his new home! Balto is drop dead gorgeous and 1000000% husky! He has a lot of energy to burn and a will require an active family. He would be a great companion for a runner and anyone who loves the outdoors (while leashed). Balto is approximately a year old. He gets along with other dogs his size but does play rough! He’s very inquisitive and LOVES to be pet! Balto is also great with kids but can be rambunctious! No cats! He has no accidents in his crate but is learning to like a crate setting so he can be safe if / when his family is gone. A sturdy / heavy duty crate will be required. Balto is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines.

Why adoption is a great option

Balto, a Alpharetta Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Alpharetta, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Alpharetta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alpharetta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alpharetta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alpharetta paves the way for another one to be saved.
