Zuza is an amazing, sweet, beautiful girl 2-3 year old pup. Although her breed is unknown, she looks like she is part silver lab. She was found pregnant and living on the trash people left behind in a Walmart parking lot. She was so malnourished and her skin looked awful. And we just could not let this sweet mama bring her babies into this world without the warmth and comfort of a home! She is currently a VERY skinny 45lbs, and should be about 60lbs when she fills out and reaches her ideal weight. She is incredibly gentle with humans of all sizes, and has done well with children as young as 3 years old. Sweet and loving, Zuza is a real “velcro dog”, and is happiest in her human’s lap or leaning her head on their shoulders. Zuza has not had much experience with being in a home, and she is still learning her manners about taking food and walking nicely on a leash, but she is improving daily and wants to please. Zuza is fully house trained and has never had an accident in the house. Zuza is great with his canine foster brother, but she is not a fan of cats! She is not a fan of the crate but she will go in and stay quietly if you offer her something to chew on. She is currently heartworm positive and will begin her heartworm treatment (paid for and arranged by FCAR) when her babies are weaned. Her adoption fee also includes her spay once her body has recovered from raising her puppies and her heartworm treatment. Her babies have all found their forever homes, and it's now her turn to find hers!
