My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jupiter is one precious little guy who is approximately a year old and around 40 lbs.

Jupiter’s life began a bit rough as a bait dog in training. He is very timid around humans but loves cuddles and pets. He loves all kinds of toys, bones and treats and is a SUPER CHEWER. If something is left out, he will chew it up!

He is not a fan of a crate due to his previous life and uses one to hide in, but with more training he may learn to tolerate one better. With all this being said he is a happy pupper!

Jupiter is going to need a great deal of PATIENCE due to his abusive past. The vet said that no matter when he finds his furever home he will be scared but should bounce back with love and attention and someone who will allow him time to decompress and adjust. He will need someone that has time to be with him and have patience. Jupiter will need to be let out to potty about every 2-3 hours as he is still learning house training.

He loves other dogs, cats and has never shown a bit of aggression. He will walk on a leash but will wrap around your legs. He knows what “do your business” means outside but still uses pee pads.

When we get him to join the family in the den he loves to cuddle, loves kisses and will look at you in amazement that he is getting positive attention. Jupiter seems okay with kids but we think older kids or a calmer home will be best for him.

Again, he will need lots of patience but will make a great family member. If you think Jupiter would make a great addition to your family fill out the application with ASF and let’s get him home!!
