Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kia is a sweetie, a cute and happy girl who also is great on a leash, doesn't hesitate to sit when asked, and is quiet in her run. She has lots of love to share stored in that a-little-bit-too-chunky body. With a little exercise and a better diet, she'll lose a few pounds and be even more beautiful than she is now. Kia arrived at the shelter on Feb. 17 as a lost dog. She is about 5 years old and weighs 85 pounds. She is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and tested negative for heartworms; she will be microchipped upon adoption. Come meet her in Run 53 using ID#635349.

Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by appointment only until further notice, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
