Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**This dog is located on Long Island
KATIE BUG is an absolute story in resilience- and the magic that can happen when a desolate and abandoned dog comes into our care. This poor little girl was dumped like garbage on the side of the road. She was so fortunate to have a good Samaritan come to her aid and even though this little miss was cruelly abandoned and neglected by people - she still wagged her tail and accepted the kindness of these strangers.
Little Katie Bug went through the long, serious and costly heartworm treatment. She currently weighs in at 47 pounds but should be around 80lb or more when she is fully grown and filled out. From experience, we know that with great nutrition and the love of a family, she will continue to gain and thrive.
In Louisiana, KATIE BUG was in a foster home with both dogs and kids. She is active, friendly, loves to "dance" while playing with the other dogs. A joy to watch. She enjoys her walks and is just a pleasure.
Katie Bug is now in a foster on Long Island. Her foster parents say she is a sweet wonderful girl who is good on walks and in the crate. She unfortunately was no spayed in Louisiana and needs to be spayed here - NYSRR of course will cover the cost.
