Frijolita aka Little Bean was rescued several weeks ago from a home where another pup died of parvo. We rescued Lil Bean, vaccinated her, and she did not get sick. She is a shy but sweet girl, unsure of the world. She is getting braver every day!! Bean is about 14 weeks, best breed guess is shepherd mix. She loves her foster buddies and her foster family. She has a wondeful sweet shy temperament. She is still working on potty training, uses a doggy door and will need one more vaccine before starting to explore the world. She would probably benefit from a second dog in the home, for confidence. If you are interested in Lil Bean please fill out an application https://ozziespoundpuppies.org/online-application/
Lil Bean is fixed, chipped and UTD on vaccines including rabies. Adoption fee is $300 🐶🐶🐶

More about this rescue
Ozzies Pound Puppies is an all breed dog rescue based in Concord, CA. Our volunteers are committed to rescuing unwanted and abandoned dogs from the public and from shelters. Ozzies is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that receives no government funds. You can help make a difference for a shelter dog by fostering, adopting, volunteering or donating.
WHAT WE DO
Every day, hundreds of dogs are euthanized in shelters across the nation. City and county shelters are overrun with stray and surrendered dogs and have run out of space, this is why they have to euthanize dogs. Dogs are only given a short time to be adopted and then they get put down. Our Rescue will take in dogs that have run out of time at the shelter and find homes for them, thus freeing up shelter space and finding adoptable dogs a new family.
