My story

Hey, my name is Dixie!
I am about 9 months old. I am a shy girl and really need some help building my confidence! I arrived to the shelter with my siblings, Breaker and Atlas. We haven't been exposed to much so being in such a new environment is pretty scary to me.
If you are interested in adopting or fostering me, please give the shelter a call at 218-568-7387 or visit anytime Tuesday-Sunday 8:30am-5pm!

More about this shelter

OUR MISSION Our mission is to provide a safe, healthy, and loving environment that will provide temporary shelter for abandoned, stray, and surrendered animals for finding each animal a new and prosperous home. The Babinski Foundation was established in 2010 by Donald Babinski owner and founder of Babinski Properties. Donald was working tirelessly to get the animal shelter opened which was his dream. Donald Babinski tragically passed away August 11th, 2014. His surviving family and friends would not let his dream vanish, the building was completed December 2015, and did a soft open January 2016. The Babinski Foundation grand opening was August 12th, 2017. Donald's dream was finally realized, but we will continue to work hard and hopefully make him proud for years to come.
