Meet Cleo! Cleo came to us from a Kentucky shelter when her time was up. She was born approximately 11/13/21. Cleo seems to be some sort of Terrier mix possibly Rat Terrier but unsure what else is in her breed mix. She is very sweet and loves people and is good with other dogs. We aren't sure how she will do with cats as she hasn't been around them. Cleo is only 16 lbs currently and will likely stay under 25 lbs as an adult dog but unfortunately cannot be sure due to her mixed breed heritage. Please email us to start the adoption process! Her adoption fee is $399 which includes her spay, vaccinations, routine labwork and microchip.

For adoptions of puppies 6 months old or younger, you must reside within 50 miles of Shorewood, IL.

Why adoption is a great option

ADOPTED!!! Cleo, a Shorewood Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Shorewood, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Shorewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shorewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shorewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shorewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
