My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Molly is a very sweet and lively 13 yr. young 26 lb. cocker girl who had many beautiful babies for her owner. But when she grew older and could no longer be cash producer she was dropped off at the Humane Society. Thankfully they contacted FCCR to come and get her and we are so glad they did! Florida Coastal Cocker volunteers put their arms around Molly and gave her the love and medical care she so badly needed. Molly now enjoys her walks and is very good on a leash. She sleeps all night beside her foster parent’s bed and she is housetrained too. Molly gets along well with other dogs and loves people, but like many dogs who have been abandoned, Molly is very insecure and wants to be with her people all the time. She will need a patient owner with cocker experience, as she is head shy and possessive and doesn’t like things being taken away from her. She is food motivated and has been well fed … probably needed in the past when she was feeding babies. Molly has some impaired hearing, but hears loud noises and always hears what's going on in the kitchen. Molly is such as sweet girl but he has been traumatized by her past so she will need a seasoned cocker owner who can understand she sometimes just wants her way and will get grumpy when she doesn't get it 🙂.
