My story

This little angel is Charlie! This boy is a handsome and sweet kitty who has a very special place in our hearts. Charlie came to Orphans of the Storm after his owner could no longer care for him. He lived in a home with another kitty and according to his previous owner, he'll sit on your lap for hours as long as you pet him! He loves to be brushed and is a big fan of eating, especially when it comes to treats. Charlie is on a special diet though and his future cat parent will need to monitor his food intake. Charlie knows just how special and loved he is, now he is just waiting for everyone else to see it too!

More about this shelter

We serve the pets and people in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Our mission is clear: To take responsibility for each and every orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected dog and cat which reaches our doors; to take them in and shelter them; to provide the best medical and physical care possible for them; to nurture them back to health if need be; and finally to place them into warm, loving, adoptive homes where they can enjoy the lives they deserve.
