My story

Hi! My name is Puddles. I'm a 1 -year-old domestic shorthair. I have been spayed, de-wormed, micro-chipped, and I have received my first set of vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.

I am a bit curious as to why I have not been adopted yet! I was brought into the shelter on valentines day and I am still here! I am a very sweet, quiet, and loving girl who enjoys getting chin, cheek and but scratches. I am very loving and enjoy receiving attention. I am not a fan of being picked up and held but if you're sitting down I will come over to cuddle you. If you are looking for a sweet and quiet girl like me who is good with other cats, dogs and kids then be sure to call the shelter and make an appointment to come in! I cannot wait to meet my forever family.

Why adoption is a great option

Puddles, a Lloydminster Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
